This is the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.crunchgear.com\/2008\/10\/10\/first-photo-from-googles-geoeye-1-satellite-released\/\"  onclick=\"javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview ('\/outbound\/www.crunchgear.com');\">same satellite<\/a> that supplies Google with images for Google Maps and Google Earth, so we may see this image show up there one day as well.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>To give you a better sense of how powerful this technology is, click on the image, and you&#8217;ll see that those oblong, blurry, brown spots are <em>people<\/em>.
