Is it <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dccomics.com\/mad\/?action=on_the_stands&amp;i=11594\"  target=\"_blank\">this February 2009 cover for MAD magazine, above, titled, &#8220;Obama: The First 100 Minutes,&#8221;<\/a> revealing a hyperperplexed new president in a classic &#8220;What? <strong><em>ME WORRY<\/em><\/strong>!!!!&#8221; pose, sucking down nicotine sticks by the bushel, gurgling Pepto-Bismol, and grabbing his cranium for even a moment&#8217;s sweet relief?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/harryallen.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/vforiginal.jpg\"  title=\"Barack Obama Vanity Fair cover\"><img src=\"http:\/\/harryallen.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/vforiginal.jpg\" title=\"Barack Obama Vanity Fair cover\" alt=\"Barack Obama Vanity Fair cover\" align=\"right\" width=\"200\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Or is it this dry March 2009 <em>Vanity Fair<\/em> cover, right, pushing forward a dignified, confident, fossilized, stuffy Obama, complete with bland taupe background, shot in a style that seems as dated as Obama&#8217;s presidency is fresh?<\/p>\n<p>As even the fastest walk-run past a newsstand reveals, everybody&#8217;s sticking Obama on their covers, even if they have absolutely no reason to do so. I can hardly wait to see <em>Expert Bowler Today<\/em>, <em>Black Mother Magazine<\/em>, and <em>Stutterers Digest<\/em> get in on the action.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/harryallen.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/posl01_onthecover0707.jpg\"  title=\"Vanity Fair July 2007 cover\"><img src=\"http:\/\/harryallen.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/02\/posl01_onthecover0707.jpg\" title=\"Vanity Fair July 2007 cover\" alt=\"Vanity Fair July 2007 cover\" align=\"right\" width=\"200\" \/><\/a>And speaking of getting in on the action, how mega-lame is it for <em>Vanity Fair<\/em> to front a front by using <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vanityfair.com\/politics\/features\/2007\/07\/onthecover_slideshow200707?slide=2#globalNav\"  target=\"_blank\">the exact, same, leftover shot they ran back during the American Express RED Africa, 20-person multiple cover back in July 2007<\/a>? And <a href=\"http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.com\/2009\/02\/02\/obama-in-vanity-fair-anni_n_163007.html\"  target=\"_blank\">how come <em>The Huffington Post<\/em>, raving over the cover, didn&#8217;t notice this<\/a>?
