As well, the opening within the &#8220;9&#8221; portrays the abstracted shape of a banking jetliner, rushing toward the viewer head-on, <em>a la<\/em> United Airlines Flight 175&#8217;s widely videotaped crash into the Center&#8217;s South Tower.
