“I’m…Too Sexy For My Hair…Too Sexy For My Hair…And I Don’t Freakin’ Caaaaaaare….”

Ooo la la!

Take a look at this picture of Sarah Palin with her hair down, above.

As you do, do you find yourself slowly becoming entranced by her sex appeal?

If so, it’s not by accident.

“I’m ready!”According to The New York Times, the Republican VP nominee typically wears her hair in her now familiar uptight updo, right, because, as a candidate for Alaska state governor, she didn’t want to come off as “too sexy.”

Or, so says her hairdresser, Jessica J. Steele, owner of the Beehive Beauty Shop in Wasilla, AK.

“She’s very involved in her look and how she’s perceived,” Mrs. Steele said. “We would talk a lot about how if she looked too pretty or too sexy, people wouldn’t listen to her. How important it was for people to see her as an intelligent, smart woman. It was comical when her hair was down, how big a difference that would make, especially when she was running for governor.”

You know, there’s a certain science to this. Look at the way her hair dangles becomingly, past her shoulders, in this photo at her inaugural ball in January 2007, below.

“Is that Alaska pine in your pocket….”

I’m guessing that “not looking too sexy” is the last thing she wanted to do while dancing with her husband, “First Dude” Todd.

On the other hand, you can tell she couldn’t have cared less what this salmon thought.

“Free, free…set me free…free, free…set me free….”

somehow i’ve managed to live in a country fighting an unjust war for the last two terms and not get to the point where I felt I had emigrate. However, I don’t think I can live here if our Vice President doesnt believe in evolution….just can’t do it.

The archetype of a woman “letting her hair down” is universal. In Native American, Asian Indian, Nepali etc. cultures only “sluts” walk around without their hair tied back. The reason you always see paintings of mermaids combing their long tresses is because they are “releasing their power.” Women who want to be taken seriously in business or politics must either wear their hair up/back, or cut it short.
