What’s Up, Sis?

The functionally titled Tall Black Women blog posts pics and info about women of African descent who range between six feet and seven-and-a-half feet in height.

Most are athletes, like 6-foot-5-inch Los Angeles Sparks center Lisa Leslie, above left. (The basketball player is shown with her 5-foot-3-inch friend, actor Regina King [Jerry MacGuire, Ray]).

Some are entertainers or models, like singer Mercy Nwankwo, formerly of Idols West Africa fame, or Jamaican muse Sidjae Angelique Reid, right, both 6-foot-3.

Then, some, like West Midlands, England’s “Mistress Saskia,” below, also 6-foot-3, combine all of the above—athleticism, entertainment, and modeling—into something of a question mark.
