I don’t know how actor/comedian Chris Hardwick keeps getting work, but I’m suddenly glad he does.
When he appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon this week, to promote his new G4 Web Soup world’s-funniest-YouTube-clips gig, I wasn’t expecting a lot from the guy I know best as the host of the half-hour reality dating show Shipmates. (I wasn’t big into MTV’s Singled Out, even when I had cable.)
But then he cracked open the video.
Whoa.
Did you check that spot for Mr Sprigg’s Real Pit Bar-B-Q in Midwest City, OK? The music’s sumptuous groove and love-makin’ vocal, mixed with chewy shots of savory cooked meat, made me genuinely starved.
Man.

Chris Hardwick? Aw… That’s not a fair thing to say if you only know him from a show from seven or ten years ago. Dude’s funny.. I haven’t seen him much on G4 but he’s been an underground comic for most of that time since and always makes me think and makes my sides hurt.
Besides.. He writes in his otherwise nerdy blog, stuff like this. I like him. He’s good people.
